BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
PUBLIC NOTICE

A public hearing and meeting will be held before and by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Incorporated Village of Mill Neck, Nassau County, New York, at the Village Hall, 32 Frost Mill Road in the Village on October 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. 

The hearing will be on the application of Benadetta and Sam Kliger, owners of a parcel of land located at 158 Horseshoe Road in the Village, designated as Section 29 Block L Lot 680 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map, in the Village=s E‑1 (5-acre) Zoning District.            

            The Appellants seek to maintain an existing accessory barn with roofless fenced enclosure, which would require the following variances:

  1. To allow the aggregate lot coverage of the main dwelling and accessory buildings or structures to have a lot coverage of 15.1% of lot coverage rather than the maximum permitted 10%.
  2. To allow the roofless, fenced enclosure to have an exterior side yard setback of +/-40 feet rather than the required 50 feet.

The above application is on file at the office of the Village Clerk located at 32 Frost Mill Road between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the time of the hearing. 

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at said time and place.
