VILLAGE OF MILL NECK
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
PUBLIC NOTICE

A public hearing and meeting will be held before and by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Incorporated Village of Mill Neck, Nassau County, New York, at the Village Hall, 32 Frost Mill Road in the Village on April 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. 

The hearing will be on the application of Extenet Systems, LLC, requesting a conditional use special permit and variances to install two (2) low wireless telecommunication facilities within the Village’s public right of way in the following locations:

     Location 1 – Site ID: NY-S000001124: to be installed on an existing PSEGLI owned wood utility pole (NT) located on the northerly side of Mill Hill Road, opposite Glen Cove-Oyster Bay Road, in the vicinity of 323 Mill Hill Road. The existing pole is approximately 29’10” high. The antenna will consist of one canister-type antenna, 18 inches high and 14.6” wide, and will be installed on top of the pole, approximately 31 feet above grade. The equipment cabinet will be installed 9 feet 6 inches above grade.

     Location 2 Site ID: NY-S000001118: to be installed on an existing PSEGLI owned wood utility pole (#102) located on the northerly side of Oyster Bay Road, approximately 700 feet west of the intersection with Oyster Bay Road/Chicken Valley Road. The existing pole is approximately 27’7” high. The antenna will consist of one canister-type antenna, 18 inches high and 14.6” wide, and will be installed on top of the pole, approximately 29’9” feet above grade. The equipment cabinet will be installed 9 feet 6 inches above grade.

The above application is on file at the office of the Village Clerk located at 32 Frost Mill Road between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the time of the hearing. 

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at said time and place.
