BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
PUBLIC NOTICE

 

A public hearing and meeting will be held before and by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Incorporated Village of Mill Neck, Nassau County, New York, at the Village Hall, 32 Frost Mill Road in the Village on August 19, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. 

The hearing will be on the application of Sherrell J. and Allison Aston, owners of a parcel of land located at 22 Beaver Brook Road in the Village, designated as Section 29 Block T Lots 138, 154 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map, in the Village=s E‑1 (5-acre) Zoning District. 

The Appellants seek to construct an inground swimming pool with appurtenant patio and pool equipment which require the following variances:

  1. To allow the pool patio to have a rear yard setback of 60’10” rather than the required 75 feet;
  2. To allow the in-ground swimming pool, patio and pool equipment to be located closer to the front lot line than the rear building line of the main building to which it is accessory.

The above application is on file at the office of the Village Clerk located at 32 Frost Mill Road between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the time of the hearing. 

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at said time and place.
