Bayville Bridge Rehabilitation

Travel Advisory 

Dear Recipient, 

We hope this message finds you well. As part of our commitment to keep the community informed, we are reaching out to provide an update on the Bayville Bridge Rehabilitation. 

Underside Work Phase:

Please be advised that starting Monday, November 3, 2025 (weather permitting), crews will begin underside work on the Bayville Bridge. To perform this operation, the bridge bascule leaves must remain in the open position during active work hours.

 Key Details:

• Start Date: Monday, November 3, 2025 (weather permitting)
• Time: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (overnight)
• Duration: Approximately two weeks
• Affected Area: Bayville Bridge 
• Traffic Impacts: A temporary detour via Cleft Road will be in place during nighttime operations. At the end of each night shift, the bridge will be fully reopened to traffic in the morning.We are committed to minimizing disruptions and ensuring public safety throughout this process. Appropriate traffic control measures will be implemented to facilitate safe and efficient travel during construction.
