VILLAGE OF MILL NECK
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
PUBLIC NOTICE
A public hearing and meeting will be held before and by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Incorporated Village of Mill Neck, Nassau County, New York, at the Village Hall, 32 Frost Mill Road in the Village on February 15, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
The hearing will be on the application of Bernadeta and Sam Kliger, owners of a parcel of land located at 158 Horseshoe Road in the Village, designated as Section 29 Block L Lot 680 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map, in the Village=s E‑1 (5-acre) Zoning District.
The Appellants seek a variance to allow the installation of a generator, which would have an exterior side yard setback of 75 feet rather than the required 125 feet.
The Appellants also seek variances to maintain the following existing structures:
- Existing 425.7 square foot barn which has an exterior side yard setback of 38.4 feet rather than the required 125 feet and a rear yard setback of 67.6 feet rather than the required 75 feet;
- Existing 8.0’ x 9.8’ shed which has an exterior side yard setback of 13.5 feet rather than the required 125 feet.
The above application is on file at the office of the Village Clerk located at 32 Frost Mill Road between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the time of the hearing.
All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at said time and place.
